| The Crown Inn was built in the early 1800’s and has undergone a lot of changes over the years, including a bright and airy restaurant which has a distinctly mediterranean feel with wooden floors and warm colours, it has unspoilt views to the north over Carlisle towards Scotland, and looks out over the Pennines to the east. Next to the restaurant is a cosy well stocked bar with real ale, to the left of the bar are more tables for dining, this area being a winter favourite with natural slate floor and roaring log fire. |
